Welcome to my Destination Real Estate world! I was raised in the Pacific Northwest, but rediscovered North Puget Sound when writing about its casual lifestyle for boating and travel publications. I fell in love with its quality of life and moved to Anacortes 45 years ago to sail Puget Sound's beautiful waters.
During my 33 years as a Realtor I love to portray the picturesque beauty of Skagit County - especially Anacortes - our city by the sea. One of my greatest joys is introducing others to our intriguing lifestyle, sharing personal experiences and photos of our Northwest paradise. My favorite hobbies include music, sailing, travel, writing and photography.
Through the years I have cultivated a working relationship with other professionals that contribute to successful transactions, including home inspectors, mortgage and escrow officers, and reputable local builders. Real estate is primarily local, and sometimes can change quickly. I provide clients with what is happening and assisting them much more than what they can research on the web or a mobile app. Negotiation is key.
I am honored to have served in a variety of Real Estate professional organizations, including the Board of Directors and President of the North Puget Sound Realtors Association, committees for the Washington Association of Realtors, and served as President of the Washington Chapter of the Residential Sales Council.
My professional designations include Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and ePro certification for internet professionalism. I am also a graduate of REALTORS Institute (GRI).
I am proud to support several community organizations, such as Soroptimist of Fidalgo Island, Anacortes Relay for Life, Anacortes Family Shelter and the John L. Scott Foundation.
My working style is relaxed and friendly, with an insistence on detail. Let me share my wealth of knowledge and help you realize your lifestyle dreams.
"Fidalgo Island's tapestry is rich with color: blue sea, green ferns, golden wing, and red sky. Embrace its warmth."
